Description

For hire, our lovely VW crafter campervan Ruby Red is ready to see Scotland or afar.
Ruby red is based on a VW Crafter long wheelbase van with a full-height roof, and a good strong engine. There is a fixed comfortable bed at the rear, running water, LED lights, phone charger points, an opening skylight plenty of storage in the garage, a portable toilet. There is window blinds for all windows to give you privacy and to keep you warm....

It is very important that you return the campervan by 11.00am as we need to prepare for other hirers for pick up. If over an hour late there will be a charge of £30 for the inconvenience .
Please look after the van as it was your own. All damages must be paid for.

We had a great time in Ruby and Graeme was very helpful in sorting things out for us when they went wrong but there were just too many significant things either missing or not working. I'm sure Graeme will be working to sort things out but she is an older van, so that comes with risk . Consequently she was not the best of value compared to other vans we have hired. August 2023

Response from Graeme Phil glad to see you had a great time in Ruby though there was no doubt in my mind that you wouldn't. She is great value for money as she still managed to take you to where you wanted to go, her bed is probably more comfortable than the expensive motorhomes that are getting hired. I tried to get her into the garage to help with the 5th gear issue but the garage was busy. I managed to trek over half of the Scottish Borders to buy a new expensive leisure battery as you felt the other one was inadequate - no complaints from other hirers. I am still working on the reverse camera. Not much was missing regarding anything else, she is pretty well equipped. Sorry about the broken pot but we did give you another one to make life easier for you.
