I am pleased to introduce my VW T6 campervan and invite you to hire it. It's versatile, easy to drive and gives a sense of freedom to visit where you want. The leisure battery keeps the fridge and lights on, and the gas cylinder means you can brew up without being connected to electricity and water mains. A small gas grill is below the hob and sink. If you are at a site, the leads to connect you to water and electricity are available. Bedding and linen are available free of charge on request. Basic cooking utensils provided.
The 'drive away' awning is handy with room for a camping table and offers a private space for sleeping - I can lend you a campmat if required. It is an inflatable awning which is relatively easy to erect. Tent pegs and mallet are supplied. I say 2-4 berth because I think 4 would be a very tight squeeze and difficult to manage. Happy to chat this through with someone wishing to hire the van.
There is a portable chemical toilet and space can be made for it between the covered space between the van and the awning.
The raised roof gives a sense of space when sitting in the van as well as space for 2 sleeping. There are vents in the roof to keep you cool and mesh to keep out the midges. The back seats fold down to make a double bed also.
All the windows have blinds and there is a wrap around for the windscreen and doors for reducing condensation and privacy.
I have a TV and ariel which can be handy but doubt if it will be used, these are available on request. There are lights throughout the van and reading lights by the beds.
Handy hint: pack what you need. Storage is adequate but tight. Luggage for 4 people can take up a lot of room.
