Vehicle Conditions
The hirer confirms receipt of the vehicle and contents in good condition, except as noted by Motorhome Escapes, and must check the vehicle before departure.

The vehicle must be returned in the same condition, with the interior and appliances clean. A cleaning charge of up to £60 + VAT applies if not returned clean; cleaning materials are provided.

Dirty or stained carpets or upholstery, including pet hair, will incur a £55 + VAT charge.

In pet-friendly vehicles, upholstery covers must be used. Any evidence of pets in non-pet vehicles will result in a £250 + VAT deep-cleaning charge.

Chemical toilets must be emptied, rinsed, and cleaned before return, as no disposal point is available at the depot. Toilets must be emptied at a campsite prior to return. Failure to comply will result in a £200 charge.

Fuel, Oil & Gas
Vehicles are supplied with a full fuel tank and must be returned full. Any shortfall will incur a £50 + VAT surcharge plus fuel costs.

Incorrect fuel use is the hirer’s responsibility. Oil and water levels must be checked regularly.

Some vehicles require AdBlue. If the warning light appears, the customer must refill immediately. Failure may restrict vehicle performance or prevent restarting. Vehicles returned with the AdBlue warning light illuminated will be charged for the refill plus a £15 administration fee.

Vehicles fitted with refillable LPG bottles must be returned full. Vehicles supplied with Calor gas bottles do not need to be returned full and no refunds apply.

Suitability
Motorhome Escapes reserves the right to refuse vehicle handover if a hirer is deemed unsuitable for safety reasons. In such cases, hire charges will be refunded, but no liability is accepted for other costs incurred.

Animals
Animals are not permitted unless pre-approved and only in designated pet-friendly vehicles.

Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited. A £200 + VAT penalty applies, or up to the full damage deposit if damage occurs.
