Minimum 21 years old with 2 years driving experience and Maximum age is 79 years old.
If you don't hold a UK or EU licence, please let me know what licence you do have when making the booking request so that I can check it with my insurer in case they specify any special conditions.
All hirers must provide two proof of address documents on collection dated within 90 days of the hire as well as having your licence with you (council tax statements, telephone, gas, water bills and bank statements are all examples of acceptable proof of address documents).
Cleaning:
The Campervan must be returned clean internally including all eating utensils plates, cups, pots and pans. If it is returned exceptionally dirty then a cleaning charge of £25 will be applied. The fuel gauge should also read the same on return as when the hire commenced (owner will endeavour to ensure that it is full on collection).
Special condition:
If the water tank is filled with Diesel accidentally, there will be a £200 charge levied. This is because replacing the built in water tank requires a partial stripdown of the internals to get to the water tank.

James was great, very helpfull to make the handover smooth, quick and easy handover. We went up the west coast to Achiltibuie, then across to the east coast staying in Dornoch and finished our trip around Findhorn. Stan the van was fab easy to drive, had everything we needed, easy to use and very comfy. Definitely would hire from James again

James nous a très bien accueilli lorsque nous avons pris possession de notre van, et surtout, il s'est montré très compréhensif et réactif lorsque le van est tombé en panne. Nous avons pu revenir à Inverness, où un autre van nous attendait, et nous avons pu poursuivre notre périple sur la North Coast 500 sans souci! Le premier van comme le deuxième , deux vw Transporter étaient très confortables et bien équipés, on peut se faire à manger sans problème, et on y dort bien grâce à la couette chaude et moelleuse fournie par James.

We recently had the pleasure of hiring out Stan for our 2-week campervan adventure around the NC500 and inner Hebrides, for which he was the perfect travel companion - we couldn’t recommend him more! Ideal size for a couple (and the roads), comes equipped with all the essentials that you’ll need, reliable and comfortable. We cooked many meals on the hob and also shared our engagement with Stan via some champagne in plastic cups. We stayed in campsites every night but if you’re happy going without a toilet, parking somewhere for the night would work just as well. James provided an excellent service, quick to reply, professional, friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend taking Stan on your NC500 adventures and beyond! A huge thank you to James for the 5-star service once again! We hope to come back one day and rebook Stan to make many more great memories!

Holiday of a lifetime to celebrate my 60th birthday!
James was a great host who explained everything very clearly and was so friendly.
We did the NC500 over 7 nights and a couple of nights on Skye. Our van was Stan and we loved him! He felt 100% reliable as if he could have done the route on His own. We had booked into campsites with electric hookup which made it stress free.
Although Stan is compact there was enough storage for 4 adults (we did have to be organised but that was ok)
This was our first trip in a camper van and we’ll definitely book with James again. He was so reassuring. Highly recommend.

We had a great time in Stan! We drove from Inverness, to the Isle of Skye, back round through Glen Coe and along the Loch Ness!
We were weary camping in January but Stan kept us safe on our travels and warm when camped up. James was super helpful. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!
