VW T5 Campervan

This VW campervan has recently (mid May 2021) been converted to a high standard so is now available for the summer!

It has a traditional layout for a VW Transporter with a comfortable seating area / rock and roll bed, and kitchen along the side, plus storage towards the rear. There was an issue with the suppliers of the curtains so there are none currently in place however the windows are tinted so it’s not a huge issue, it may be that you want to wake up at first light anyway to make best use of your trip! Apart from that, everything you need!

The van itself is a fairly modern low mileage VW T5 which returns excellent MPG. It’s is comfortable and almost car like to drive, plenty power for overtaking and easy to drive even on one-way country roads. It has an upgraded stereo with Bluetooth if your handy with technology and the seats have recently been re upholstered.

It’s a great stealth camper with the tinted windows and doesn’t necessarily look like a campervan from the outside.

The kitchen area has a sink, fresh and waste water tanks, and a gas two burner hob. At night the sofa bed goes almost full length down the van to create a decent size and comfortable double bed. The passenger seat can swivel round in the daytime to make a more comfortable seating area which is a nice touch with the sliding door to the side.

Please note due to Cv19 you are required to bring your own bedding/sleeping bags, pots and plates etc. If this is an issue and I have enough advance notice, I can try and sort out some items before hire. Please also note location is Inverness for pick up and drop off - it may say Aviemore area on here, and that is possible for a fee, but it’s Inverness now. I can pick up and drop off at the airport or train/bus station again for a very small fee. Pick up and drop offs will generally have to be after 5pm due to myself working full time. Car parking while you are away is possible but it’ll be street parking. With Cv19 please be rest assured the van will be cleaned down by previous hirers, then myself and left to sit before the van next goes out on a trip. The van itself is easy to operate even for first time users, though there is some basic instructions handy inside the glovebox for reference.

The vehicle has breakdown cover in place. The only thing you must sort is insurance but this is extremely easy through an App called Dayinsure - proof of this must be shown on pick up.
