Ernie is our new VW T6 SWB which has been converted by Caledonian Campers to a very high spec so has all the mod cons to make your trip as comfortable as possible. As he is a Short Wheel Base van with power steering he is easy to drive around even the narrowest of country roads and ideal for those with little or no experience in driving a van.

We loved the campervan, Ernie was faultless on our adventure. Has everything in it you would need, so comfy and lovely to drive. Would most definitely recommend hiring this van and owners were fab from start to finish. My kids will be talking about the holiday for a while and tell me every day since coming home that they miss waking up in Ernie.

Communication with Esther was great, from the moment we decided on this van to the moment we handed him back, nothing was too much of a hassle and Esther is easy going and flexible .
The van was exactly as described, spotless, easy to drive and looks awesome (We were the envy of others at some campsites!)
The van is DIESEL and NOT petrol, thought I’d mention this as some people would prefer diesel on longer journeys. To sum it up, we’re already thinking about hiring this van again!
