The Swift Escape 694 Skye model was introduced in 2019 with a new streamlined bright and very comfortable modern interior. Our van has been fitted out to give a luxury home from home experience. It has an economical six speed manual Euro six engine, Captain style swivel cab seats, large fixed Island bed which is Ideal for a couple. It can be driven on a UK B car license... 3500 kg; The Skye model is 7.4 metres long so is very roomy inside and has been designed for maximum living space but small enough to cope with tight spaces and small roads. For the last two years we have been advertised on an alternative site and all our reviews were 5 Star.
There is a fixed double bed in the rear, at normal height which is made up all the time, the dinette / lounge seat converts to another double if required. The wrap around lounge combined with the comfortable captain style swivel seats in the cab gives extra space to relax in the evenings, L shaped kitchen and mid shower room and toilet.
The Motorhome has two LPG gas tanks which can be filled at most petrol stations. Gas & electric hot air heating and hot water system. Rear view camera, satellite navigation, cab sunroof, cab air conditioning, cruise control, rear view camera, reversing sensors, hands free mobile phone connection, full media player system with bluetooth connection for your phone, USB ports. Rear cycle carrier for 3 bikes. Cab mirror protective covers (These help prevent expensive mirror replacement) Roof fitted Solar panel to facilitate wild camping.
All habitation windows and roof lights have blinds and fly screens. The Motorhome is fitted with an awning so you can relax outside under cover. The gas barbeque, picnic table and chairs are all supplied as standard to add to your enjoyment. Inside you have a Satellite operated flat Screen TV /DVD player with freeview, a fire stick is supplied which will work off the Motorhomes unlimited free built in Wi-Fi system giving you access to Amazon and Netflix and the ability to facetime friends and family while relaxing at the side of a beautiful Scottish loch.
The kitchen is fully equipped, comprising of a gas oven 3 burner hob with electronic igniters, a good-sized fridge freezer, microwave oven, ample worktop space, complete with all the utensils, crockery, pots & pans you would need.
Our motorhome has everything you will need included in the price. Unlike many others we do not have any hidden extras. A free bedding and towel pack can be supplied on request. If you prefer to bring your own Linen, it’s a double bed with four pillows and duvet.
At the moment Airport Transfer is not available from us but we have a good public transport system from the airports by train or bus which will get you to our local station or direct to our road end, where we are happy to pick you up free of charge.
The motorhome pick up point is at our own home which is situated in the countryside of North East Fife. You have the option to stay for free on our private grass area adjacent to our home for the first and last night of your hire. Electric hook up is available.
Parking for your vehicle is also available off road and within our property boundaries.
We have a Satellite Navigation system on board and are happy to advise / suggest routes around the Scottish mainland.
To avoid disappointment, please note that during the peak season we have a preference that you hire from Saturday to Saturday and a minimum of seven days is required.
