Mileage, Pets & Use / Return Rules

To keep Vanellope in great condition and ensure a smooth handover for everyone, please note the following:

Mileage

Vanellope has covered higher-than-average mileage, reflecting regular use and careful maintenance. She’s proven, reliable, and built to be driven.
• Your hire includes 200 miles per day
• Additional mileage is charged at £0.45 per mile
• The same mileage allowance applies for UK and European travel
• If you’re planning a longer trip or travelling abroad, please let us know in advance

Pets & Festivals
• Well-behaved dogs are welcome — we’re dog owners ourselves
We ask that pets are not left unattended and any excess hair or mess is cleaned before return
Additional cleaning charges may apply if extra cleaning is required
• Festival trips are welcome, provided the van is treated with care and returned clean
• No smoking or vaping inside the vehicle at any time

Use & Return
• Fuel: Please return the van with a full tank of diesel, as supplied
If not returned full, fuel costs plus a £25 admin fee will be deducted from the deposit
• Cleanliness: The van should be returned clean and tidy inside and out
Normal road dirt is fine — no professional valet needed
Excessive cleaning may result in a £75–£150 cleaning charge
• Water: No need to return the fresh water tank full — we recommend travelling with little or no water unless needed
• Drainage: There is no waste water tank; water drains beneath the vehicle
• Please treat the van and all equipment with care and report any damage or issues promptly
• Please return Vanellope on time as agreed
