Dubby McVDub – Volkswagen Campervan classic T5

"Dubby" does all the basics really well and is the perfect vehicle for both seasoned and fledgling campervaners. The T5 is a classic, fashionable and respected camper which integrates as easily with those sleeping under canvas as he does with those in flashy motorhomes. Easy to drive with an automatic diesel engine, both the bed ("rock and roll")and elevating roof are easy and quick to deploy. The rock and roll bed in the main cabin folds flat and is for 2 adults. The second bed is in the roof and is probably best for children or a single adult. He has a 2 burner gas stove, a fridge and a sink with cold water. There is a socket and cable to connect to an electric hook up and once connected this runs the fridge, and electric sockets to which you can connect the provided air fryer and kettle. USB sockets are provided both in the cab and in the main cabin.

The front passenger seat reverses so it can be used as cabin seating and there is a table for the main cabin as well as a small camping table and two chairs. Curtains are installed in the rear cabin with an privacy cover for the front window. The cabin has lighting, and removable cannisters for both fresh and waste water. 4 sets of cutlery, plates, bowels and mugs are supplied along with a gas kettle, an electric kettle, an air fryer and basic kitchen equipment such as a corkscrew, can opener etc.

Whilst driving there is a radio and a holder for your phone with cordless charging, this connects effectively via a bluetooth transmitter to play audio from your phone.

Other equipment such as linens, towels etc. can be provided by arrangement.
