Bert is ready for new adventures. We are ideally located just 20 minutes from Gatwick airport and 40 minutes from the south coast on the very outskirts of south London. Junction 8 m25. The owner MAY be able to come to you
A tent can be supplied with Bert to sleep two .... maybe the kids? or a smaller Tent for the dog.
May be able to supply bikes. There is a bike rack attached to Bert .... ouch 😣...

Had the best time ever, Bert was fab!

My husband and I hired Bert for 3 days. He's a great van, sturdy yet agile and easy to drive for a van this size. The cruise control was great to have! Bert has a functioning kitchen, toilet/shower, and a lounge area in the back. The bed is made by pulling out slat panels underneath and putting the sofa cushions out to make a double bed. It was surprisingly comfortable! The kitchen comes with water and gas and some basic supplies (oil, salt, kettle, etc). The van has heating too, but we couldn't figure out how to use the electric heating (when we were hooked up to electrics at a campsite), so we used gas heating instead, which worked fine. We picked up the van from Dawn's home and we were able to park our car on her drive while we were away. Dawn was very friendly, and was very generous and flexible in terms of drop off time when we came back. All in all, Bert is a great van that has all the basics that you want and need for a nice roadtrip.
