Meet Daisy — our much-loved VW T6 Highline automatic DSG campervan, based in Harlow, Essex, close to London Stansted Airport, the M11 and Cambridge/London routes. Named after our first border collie, Daisy is set up for relaxed family adventures, weekends away, dog-friendly breaks, UK road trips and European touring.
Daisy is ideal for family holidays, long weekends, coastal escapes, countryside breaks, trips to Cornwall, Scotland, Wales, the Lake District, festivals, campsites and first-time campervan adventures.
She sleeps up to 4 people and is best suited to 2 adults and 2 children. Inside, Daisy has a cosy pop-top roof bed, a comfortable 112cm RIB rear bed, Duvalay mattress toppers, fridge/freezer, gas hob, sink, swivel passenger seat, folding table and useful storage.
Daisy is well equipped for both campsite stays and off-grid trips. She has a diesel heater for cooler evenings, solar power, a lithium leisure battery and electric hookup. When off-grid, she provides 12V and USB power for phones, lights and everyday campervan use. Standard 230V plug sockets are available when connected to electric hookup.
Her automatic DSG gearbox, air conditioning, cruise control, upgraded Kenwood stereo, Alpine speakers, reversing camera, rear parking sensors and compact size make her easy and comfortable to drive, even if you’re new to campervans. At just under 2 metres high, she is also handy for car parks, ferries and many European toll routes.
This is our own personal campervan, carefully set up as the kind of campervan we would want to travel in ourselves. Daisy is thoughtfully upgraded, well maintained and prepared properly before every trip. We’ll give you a clear handover and talk you through the pop-top roof, beds, heating, electrics and kitchen area before you set off. We can also send simple WhatsApp video guides, so you have everything to refer back to during your trip.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, making Daisy a lovely choice for family holidays and pet-friendly adventures.
Daisy comes ready for a simple trip as standard, including plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, cooking utensils, saucepans, kettle, fridge/freezer, gas hob, sink, electric hookup cable, camping chairs and a folding table.
We’ve included the practical items that make travelling easier, while still leaving plenty of storage space for your own belongings, food, bedding and adventure gear.
Your own car can usually be left with us during your hire, which makes collection and return straightforward.
A few optional extras are available if you’d like more comfort, space or convenience, including bedding bundles, a drive-away awning, a Yeti cool box, the required Dog-Friendly Cleaning Supplement for guests bringing a dog, and a European travel pack.
Please note: 7+ night bookings are preferred during peak holiday periods, especially school holidays and August. Shorter trips may still be possible depending on dates, so please feel free to ask.
