George – Beautiful hand built Campervan

George is completely custom built - from the carpentry to handmade soft furnishings - he really is a labour of love

I've lived in George for 6 weeks around the South of France and road tripped the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland. He's taken me up to Scotland and for many weekends away in the beautiful British countryside! It's made for some incredible trips and means that he has been refined and perfected - I want you to be able to experience that too!

All I ask is that you look after him and treat him as if he were yours. Return him clean and with the fuel tank at the same level as received :)

THE VAN
Short wheel base (as easy as an estate car to manoeuvre and park - fits in a normal parking spot)
Manual drive, diesel fuel
Mid height (I can stand up inside at 5ft7 & anyone can sit up in bed with full head clearance)
3 seatbelts, sleeps 2 - his size means you can usually fit him and a tent on a pitch (or add on a pup tent to booking!) if you're travelling as a 3

He's a little older; drive him sensibly and he's smooth and reliable

HOUSE ON WHEELS
- Fully insulated, with fan and sky light for warmer weather
- Leisure battery charges via relay (charges while you drive) and topped up by solar panel, so there's less stress about finding power
- Extension lead with 16A 3 Pin Socket - to be used at campsites to plug into shore power (i.e. electricity at campsites)
- Built in lighting, USB charging ports

- Kitchen stocked with cooking utensils, crockery & cutlery
- Sink & running water (non heated) - 10L tank
- Fridge (optional)
- Cooker; portable camping stove (i.e. not built into kitchen). This is provided and to be used outside the van - best for safety and enjoying outdoor living

Double bed - the star of the show
- use as is or can be further extended to fit those over 6ft
- custom made, thick foam mattress with memory foam topper
- slides up into seating

Ample storage for longer trips

Removable/optional features:
- Toilet (empty this before return, else £30 charge)
- Table & 2 camping chairs
- Awning/gazebo (freestanding, not attached to van)

Extras:
- Duvet, pillows, linen
- Shower head attachment for water tank out the back - perfect for rinsing after a swim, washing wetsuits or muddy boots

ADVENTURES
Just 15mins off the M6, George is located within easy reach of North Wales (1hr) and the Peak District (45mins), or head north to the Lake District (1.5hrs).

It's also easy to hop onto the M6 --> M5 to get down to the surf & sea in Devon & Cornwall, maybe with a stop in the Cotswolds on the way!

Hirers aged over 25yrs
Drivers responsibility to check & pay ULEZ / Congestion charges. If a fine is issued to the van while in your possession it would need to be covered by the hirer.
No smoking inside
