With this off-grid self-build camper you can take up to 4 bicycles on the bus. Use it to experience freedom and adventures.
I built the camper so that I could go wind camping, mountain biking, cycling and paragliding on holiday with my girlfriend. It was a challenge to build all facilities into the compact bus. Due to its compact dimensions, it practically fits in a normal parking space. If all the curtains are closed, you are not visible from the inside, ideal for camping somewhere wild. Because it is a high bus, you can stand upright if you are <185cm. The bus is a bit older, but it is well maintained and has an economical, reliable engine (1/12 at 100 km/h in summer). The Euro3 diesel is not allowed in environmental zones, so be careful when entering large cities.
The camper is equipped with:
-A gas stove on camping gas with kitchen supplies.
-A sink with pump tap with 10 liters of water (enough to wash dishes economically for 3-4 days).
- 25L Jerrycan for drinking water.
- A folding dining table.
- A swiveling passenger seat.
- Small folding outdoor table on which the stove can be placed.
- Large household battery (4 days of shade) that is charged by 2 solar panels (sufficient in sunny weather) and possibly with the engine dynamo or 230V socket.
- The battery can be used for the refrigerator, dimmable LED spotlights, the adjustable roof hatch fan, USB charging ports, 12V cigarette plug for, for example, a laptop charger.
- Parking heater on diesel from the tank.
- Storage space: 2 wardrobes next to the bed, a cupboard for food, a cupboard above the driver, a large box under the bench (fits a paraglider). 2 plastic crates in the garage. A storage space under the bed. Shoe cupboard in the garage.
- Garage, accessible via rear doors: Designed for 4 bicycles (although tight), once the wheels are removed, the bicycles can be placed on the saddle and handlebars.
- Bed that can extend above the kitchen worktop. It is then hung on 2 cables from the ceiling. The 65cm between bed and ceiling are just enough to climb in and out comfortably.
- Bluetooth car radio with excellent speakers.
Optional accessories: Construction sheet with hooks and sticks to use as an awning, windshield insulation cushions, 2 camping chairs, folding camping table, water bag with shower head to use as an outdoor shower.
