Eli – Off-Grid Camper with Outdoor Shower

Fully self-sufficient, carefully built camper for tall people (interior height 198 cm)

I rent out my self-built camper. A tremendous amount of time and love went into building it, and it was specifically designed to stay off-grid for extended periods. With this van, you are therefore completely independent of campsites or shore power. Ideal for wild camping, a long road trip, or for digital nomads looking for a workspace in nature.

The layout and space
It is a van with a high roof, which means you can simply stand upright comfortably. To make optimal use of the interior space, a 200 x 140 cm Murphy bed (fold-up bed) was chosen. During the day, you fold it up and have a surprising amount of living and working space. In the evening, you pull the bed down.

Amenities on board
Essentially, you have everything with you that you have at home, but on wheels:

Always power: There are 3 solar panels on the roof connected to large household batteries. So you won't easily run out of power for your laptops or phones.

Kitchen: There is a kitchen unit with a 2-burner gas stove and a nice fridge with a freezer compartment.

Hot water: You have standard hot water at your disposal via the built-in boiler.

Driving comfort: During the journeys, the air conditioning keeps the cabin nice and cool.

Finally, comfortable outdoor chairs and an outdoor table are also included in the inventory. It really is just a matter of packing your clothes, doing the shopping, getting in, and driving away.
