Vanessa – Handbuilt, stealth, great comfort and a huge energy supply!

We, Tom and Lin, converted a Volkswagen Crafter into Vanessa in 2019, which would become our home for the coming year. In 2019, we made our dream come true and crossed 21 European countries, from Norway to Greece, in our beloved Vanessa. The adventure of our lives was a fact! In the meantime, we have settled again and we want to give Vanessa her freedom back.

Since we stayed permanently in our camper van, Vanessa was provided with the necessary facilities. It has running and heated water, a gas stove, electricity and heating. Because of our stay-anywhere mentality, we also paid the necessary attention to the stealth content of the bus. An overnight stay in the great outdoors thus became daily routine.

Vanessa is a Volkswagen Crafter L2H2, height 2m90. Anyone with a regular driver's license can drive her, but keep in mind that she is just that little bit higher and longer than a regular van.

What does Vanessa have to offer?

A completely self-sufficient system through green electricity from 3 solar panels (330 wp), combined with a battery storage capacity of 300ah and a 100L water tank. This means that you are not dependent on camper pitches for electricity or plumbing. In other words, you should not be at a campsite once on a two or three week trip if desired. In addition, it is always nice and warm in the van in winter, as it has a diesel heating system.

What do we expect from you?

- Love for Vanessa as if she were your own!
- If you have any questions about the facilities of our bus, you can always contact us, also during your trip. We will reply as soon as possible.
- We will give you a clean camper van before departure and expect to receive it back in the same way. If not, a cleaning fee of € 75 will be charged.
- Use of own sheets, pillows, towels, ...
- We provide a full diesel tank on departure and expect it to be returned full. The gas and water tank are also fully filled, but you should not return them full.
