Buzz is a Daily OFFGRID — for those who want to go truly far
Buzz is not a conventional campervan. It's an expedition vehicle: simple, robust mechanics, no electronic control units that can fail, just the good old mechanics of a 1991 Iveco Daily that starts, runs and can be repaired anywhere.
The bodywork is entirely sheet metal, painted with a thick, rough coat that fears neither scratches from branches, dirt tracks nor bad weather. Despite its 6.90m length, its width of just 1.80m gives it a surprisingly tight turning radius compared to a traditional motorhome — more agile, more free.
Energy and autonomy
With 600w of solar panels and 4kw of lithium battery storage, Buzz is designed for living and working completely off-grid, with no need for hook-ups or charging stations. The 5kw diesel heater is connected directly to the vehicle's tank: fill up and choose your destination, everything else is already ready.
On board
The interior is designed to be comfortable without sacrificing anything. The rear bed is fixed — nothing to assemble or disassemble, just climb in and sleep — with a 40x50 porthole above for sleeping under the stars. The dinette is perfect for eating, working or simply relaxing. The 6 additional windows are positioned on opposite sides to always create a pleasant natural airflow, even on the hottest days. The turbovent completes the ventilation.
Shower and bathroom
The interior shower 90x70 has a marble resin tray and overhead rainfall showerhead with ultra-soft flow, paired with a chemical toilet (Porta Potti) for maximum autonomy. For days at the beach, an outdoor shower lets you rinse off before climbing back on board.
Insulation
Double layer of Armaflex and XPS throughout the bodywork: Buzz keeps the warmth in winter and the cool in summer, even in the most extreme conditions.
Living outside, even when it rains
Buzz is equipped with a 4.5m x 3m awning that opens on the side of the vehicle and creates a generous, protected outdoor social area. Whether for eating outside, working in the open air or simply enjoying a stopover — the awning turns any spot into a real basecamp.
Is Buzz right for you? Read this before booking.
Buzz is a 1991 vehicle and we say that with pride — but it also means it's not for everyone. The gearbox is stiff, the locks require a bit of muscle, and Buzz generally demands a spartan approach. It's not a vehicle for those seeking modern comforts or wanting to feel like they're in a hotel on wheels. It's a vehicle for those who want to be truly independent, for those who know that freedom has its weight and embrace it gladly.
If you're a couple who loves exploring off the beaten track, a digital nomad who wants to work from a forest or a remote beach, or simply someone who prefers adventure over comfort — Buzz is your vehicle.
Buzz is 6.90m long and 1.80m wide, sleeps 2 people comfortably with a fixed bed always ready. We built it ourselves, tailored to our needs as a couple working remotely.
