Miguel's motorhome description

Top camper, very good order Very pleasant fuel consumption You just sit in an armchair to drive Perfect explanation on departure
Very nice camper that is well equipped by the owners. Because it is an automatic, it is also a pleasure to drive around. Thanks to the solar panels, the electric battery charges very quickly in good weather and you can stand autonomously for days. To be on the safe side, we had cooked in the afternoon so that the battery was full again by evening and that all went well. An induction cooking fire is therefore a true luxury in a motorhome. The layout of the camper has also stolen our hearts. a separate bathroom and shower that you can transform together with the rear bedroom into a very spacious bathroom / dressing room. Or just a separate bedroom to give the children at the back a fully enclosed spacious bedroom. The bed in the front is also much more spacious than in most motorhomes. The only downside is the weight: because this motorhome is so luxuriously equipped, namely TV, satellite dish, air conditioning, awning, solar panels, ... it is a challenge to stay under the maximum weight of 3.5T (driving license B).
We wanted to camp in the wild as much as possible during our trip to Norway, and our choice for a motorhome therefore ended up with this Chausson 720. In addition to the particularly pleasant layout with a full pull-down bed, this motorhome is equipped with an electrical system that works simply and always has sufficient generates power. We did without shore power for the entire period and never felt that we had to be extra economical with energy. Heating the camper is best done with diesel, but otherwise you can do everything electrically. In addition to the induction hob, we also brought our air fryer as a convection oven. It was also very nice that the camper has WiFi and that also worked very decently in the more deserted areas. A luxurious garden set and (of course) electric awning made life outside the camper comfortable. However, we have hardly used the TV, but if you want to check various Belgian and some Dutch channels, you can do so as long as your WiFi works. Since there were two of us, we used the bunk beds in the rear area as storage and had plenty of living space in the front area. Conveniently laid out and nice and spacious even for more people. The camper managed well in the mountainous landscape of Norway, the automatic transmission gives a lot of control and steering was smooth. At the beginning of the trip we had a problem with a loose water hose and were helped from a distance by Huub. The collection and return was also handled pleasantly and smoothly, so the contact with the landlord was pleasant. In short: this is a very nice camper from a ditto landlord, and highly recommended if you don't want to be on a campsite often.
What a wonderful camper! As a gadget freak, this camper was a wonderful experience in itself! When we picked it up we had a detailed explanation, which helped us a lot during the holiday. We could leave stuff we didn't need, so there was more room for our own stuff. We didn't need electricity from shore, it always came from the solar panels, which filled the battery. The large fridge was always on the highest setting (was very warm) and we had a great BBQ with the electric BBQ, even turned on the air conditioning for 1 night and all that from the solar panels and the battery that had not dropped below 30% (after 2 days at the campsite under the trees on a cloudy day) The beds are exquisite. Less back pain than at home, and that's saying something! Immediately after the holiday looking for new mattresses for home… During the ride the boiler warmed up due to the engine heat, stop for a moment and tea water comes out of the tap! The landlords were very involved with our holiday and always responded very quickly to questions along the way. They were very hospitable and helpful upon arrival and return Clearly not standard landlords, but people who rent out the camper with a lot of love. 5 stars is not enough, they definitely deserve 6! Huib and Miquel: thank you very much!
We really enjoyed this camper. The camper was clean and in perfect order. Spacious and great to travel with for 3 weeks. Equipped with every comfort and perfectly suitable for off-grid travel. We didn't need a campsite for 3 weeks. Also pleasant contact with the owners. Communication was always quick. It was very nice to have Wi-Fi on board. It always worked, even in remote places in Sweden.
