And just like that, 2022 is done and dusted! It’s been a fascinating year for Goboony and the travel industry. Given that 2021 was the Year of the Staycation, we weren’t sure whether people would opt for local campervan travel once they had more possibilities present. But to our pleasant surprise, more people than ever turned to campervan travel this year!
This was a year of great changes for Goboony. We hit the road in France and Germany, our two newest locations. We welcomed 40 new people to the team, across all departments and countries. We had a huge company get-together in Tuscany, Italy, where we combined glamping with brainstorming.
The first season of our podcast was released and well-received, and we can’t wait to record season two in 2023. We entered the crazy world of Tiktok and found thousands of fellow travel lovers. We were featured in the Telegraph, Guardian and Daily Mail, to name a few.
But none of this would have been possible without you, our motorhome community.
