Each year, the Financial Times publishes its list of the fastest-growing European companies. Candidates are selected based on their percentage growth in revenues. This year was interesting in particular, as these were the companies that were resilient enough to not only withstand the pandemic and covid restrictions, but managed to grow during this time. Most noticeably was the strong presence of the circular economy on the list, with Swappie (a buyer and seller of refurbished smartphones) reaching the first position.
Out of the 1,000 businesses included, Goboony placed at #389. This is an impressive position given that it is our first time on this esteemed list.
This diverse list includes companies across Europe and in various sectors, including technology, financial services, property and more. We were one of two consumer-targeted travel brands, and the only travel brand present in the UK. Similarly, we were the only motorhome sharing platform listed on the list!
What's next for Goboony?
We're excited to see what 2022 will bring for Goboony, as we continue to grow. Most recently, we've launched in France and Germany, to ensure that everyone has access to private motorhome hire.
