Download Festival is the UK's premier rock festival held over 5 days at the ‘home of rock’, Donington Park, Leicestershire. Past acts have included Metallica, Iron Maiden and Def Leppard. In 2018 it won the award for the Best Major Festival for the quality of the visitor experience, so it is one not to miss! Download is not just known for its music, but also all the other crazy fun alongside it. 2018 saw the UK Air Guitar Championships take place, lightning performances from the Lords of Lightning, a tattoo parlour and one of the world’s best Wall of Death.
Pitches for campervans and motorhomes are 9 x 7 m with portable toilets, showers, fresh water and waste disposal points provided.

How do I get there?
The festival has a partnership with Big Green Coach, with locations across the UK. You can also travel by train to East Midlands Parkway and Derby train station, from which you can take a shuttle to the festival site. If you're driving — in your campervan! — you can take the A42 or A50 and then follow the signs.
