Gordon is someone we can rely on. He was always available to answer any question on the phone and was keen to give advice on places to go in Scotland.
The van was spacious and well optimised. The beds were easy to set. The gaz valve can be opened and closed from the inside when the lower bed is unfolded, otherwise from the outside.
The heater is powerful and consumes little energy. We never ran out of battery, even with the frigde on and the heater on for a few hours a day.
The van was handy on single roads with passing places, which are common in Scotland.
There were loads of kitchen ustensils and dishware so you don't need to bring any.
The water tank size did not enable a total autonomy in Scotland but the space in the van permitted to store plastic bottles to complement it.
Furthermore there was no grey water tank. In Scotland there are very few places where grey water is collected but you can wash your dishes in the numerous public toilets offering free hot water.
