We booked the 2 berth Chausson campervan with Andrew at Central Motorhome Hire from 5th to 9th August. As my husband has Alzheimer's Disease, it was to give him days out with a familiar base and was a nice few days break.
It was my first time driving a Campervan and I was a little apprehensive, but the handover with Andrew was easy and straight forward as was the return of the vehicle at the end of our rental. I had to ring him a few times while away due to my memory and not fully understanding instructions, but Andrew was helpful on each occasion.
We visited Belton House near Grantham and had a couple of runs out to Hemsley (Including the National Centre for Birds of Prey) in North Yorkshire and it was lovely being able to sit in comfort to eat meals and have drinks.
The Campervan was easier size to drive and manoeuvre than a Motorhome, which as a pensioner suited me better.
