All our dealings with Chris were completely easy & simple, especially the hand over, the GOBOONY form that is completed by owner & renter make the process understandable for everyone and leaves nothing to chance. We spent the first night in Kenmore at Drummond Hill forestry car park, £12 on RINGO, as we’d booked the floating sauna at TAYMOUTH MARINA early the next day, check out the HOT BOX as well, definitely worth fitting in if possible. Headed off to Granton on Spey via the Queens view and tried to travel on the A9 as little as possible, few coffee stops along the way, as we’d pre booked the site it was hassle free. We ate at CRAIGS, pie & chips is the menu, and Robbie the front of house is a character, would recommend. Next stop was Rosemarkie on the Black Isle, amazing campsite right on the beach, beside the golf course, amazing!! Next stop was the long drive back to Aberfeldy, so that we were closer to the drop off point. All the campsites were great, showers, toilets, laundry facilities and dish washing facilities too and all spotless. We absolutely loved our trip in RONNIE the van and would definitely recommend, we will absolutely book another trip but head up the west coast and try a bit more off grid. June 2026
