Unfortunately we had quite a bad experience during our time with Andys lovely motorhome. We were informed when collecting the van that the gas canisters were full which we had absoluetly no reason to doubt. Everything else about the van was clean and orderly and we discussed the diesel fuel levels and how to operate different functions with Andys partner who was very helpful. The problem started on day 2 of our 5 day rental when the connected gas canister ran out, so naturally we went to change it over to the spare which, you guessed it, we also found to be empty. So no hot water, no fridge, no hot or cold drinks, no cooking the food in the fridge that we now had to throw away. If we were not at a music festival this would have still been a problem but we could have gone and changed this over ourselves but that sadly was not the situation we found ourselves in. When I contacted Andy he was very apologetic and suggested we raise a claim with goboony which of course we did. After nearly 3 weeks of waiting (and without Andy actually arguing against our case) we were awarded a refund of only £19.75 by goboony which I now have to somehow try and claim from Andy! So all I can add is 'DO NOT TAKE PEOPLES WORD, CHECK THE GAS CANISTERS BECAUSE WHEN IT GOES WRONG GOBOONY DONT HELP WITH REFUNDS'. May 2025
