So-so experience. The vehicle we were provided with was very much ‘worse for wear’ with multiple external scrapes and scratches, as well as tatty seats in the front. The bed configuration was very uncomfortable, with the top bed permanently in place with very little head room for either top or bottom use. The radio also did not work. Apart from the usual crockery and cutlery, NOTHING else was provided. We had to buy cleaning materials, tea towels, washing up scourers etc. We also had to pay an additional £80 for use of bedding and towels. The final straw was them holding onto my £2000 deposit for a month after we had returned the van, stating this was “Policy”, as if this justified it. I will look elsewhere if ever wanting to hire a van in NI. October 2024
