Joe – Joe. 2 Berth Truly Off Grid Adventure Van. Storage and Comforts Galore.

Hello! Welcome to our advert for Joe. Joe is a Citroen Relay MWB High roof. Joe is a self build but is our third self build so we feel like we know what we are doing.

Joe was built with adventure holidays in mind. We are kayakers, hikers and mountain bikers and we like to be able to quickly get comfortable having spent most of the day uncomfortable.

Pursuing these hobbies means we need to be able to function off grid. Joe has a 300A lithium leisure battery, 430w of solar power via 2 panels on the roof, a DC to DC charger and 240v hookup. More than enough to power everything onboard and any appliances you need to plug in (an air fryer or tumble dryer may be pushing it a bit but would be fine on hookup!).

Storage is plentiful as is carrying ability. The van has a full rhino rack on the roof with roller bar for ease of loading, we have a number of accessories for the rack and we also have a Fiamma double bike rack mounted to the rear doors. Onboard storage includes a large under bed garage storage area (L145cmXW141cmXH70cm, between the arches, their is 182cm outside of the arches). There is also a fully wired towbar and towboard if needed.

Joe is possibly the easiest van to drive and park for anybody who has not driven a van before. There are parking sensors, rear reversing camera (always on so can be used as rear view while driving) and always live SIDE Cameras which give you a brilliant advantage for parking.
Front seats are heated leather Mercedes AMG seats with armrests added.

Joe weighs c.2.7tn (awaiting new certificate). This is well within the 3.5tn of a normal car license. He has a full service history and was an ex -council van on a 12 week inspection cycle. As of July 26 he has a full 12 months MOT with no advisories.
