Campervan Hire – Quick Rules

* No smoking or vaping inside the van
* Pets by prior agreement only
* Only authorised drivers may drive the vehicle
* Drive responsibly and follow all road laws
* Pop-top, awning and external equipment must be secured before driving
* Use gas and cooking equipment safely and never leave it unattended
* Do not interfere with or modify the electrical, gas or water systems
* Return the van clean, tidy and with all equipment present
* Return with the agreed fuel level
* No racing, off-road use, towing or illegal use unless specifically agreed
* Report any damage, accident or fault immediately
* Please respect campsites, neighbours and quiet hours

Security Deposit & Inspection

* The campervan will be inspected before and after each hire.
* The condition of the vehicle and its equipment may be recorded with photographs.
* Any existing damage noted before the hire will not be charged to the hirer.
* The post-hire inspection will check for damage, missing items, excessive cleaning and the condition of the vehicle and equipment.
* If an issue is identified, the hirer will be informed of the proposed charge.
* Any charge against the security deposit will be based on the actual reasonable cost incurred to repair damage, replace missing or damaged items, or carry out additional cleaning.
* No arbitrary or additional profit-based charges will be deducted from the deposit.
* Evidence of the cost, such as an invoice, receipt or quotation, may be provided where applicable.
* Any remaining balance of the security deposit will be returned in accordance with the hire agreement.
