GENERAL TERMS

- Van will be full of diesel on pick up, please fill up before drop off. Otherwise a charge for the fuel plus £20 will be levied.

- Please drop off Veronica in a reasonable state of cleanliness.

- Please empty fresh and waste water tanks before drop off

- ALWAYS turn off gas supply and ensure pop-top roof is properly secured before travelling in the van

INSURANCE CRITERIA

The van is covered by a self-drive insurance policy brokered by Alan Boswell and underwritten by Allianz. In order to hire the van, you must meet the following criteria:

- Must have at least two years' driving experience (Full UK or EU licence. AU and NZ licences are agreeable, subject to a £500 excess).

- Two, 3 point convictions are acceptable (i.e. 2x SP30’s, 3pts each) without referral.

- A single six point SP30, SP50 and CU80 are acceptable subject to an additional £1,000 excess. All other six points+ offences will require referral to the insurers.

- No more than one fault or outstanding incident/claim in the last three years.

Rob helped go through the goboony pick up process, showed me round the van and how everything worked, was quite an easy pick up process. Couldn’t fault the whole experience. Always wanted to trial a VW transporter and this was just the perfect experience. The handover was a breeze, Rob was happy and available to answer any questions before and during our rental period. An excellent experience all round. Firstly Rob is great - very accommodating and helpful with everything I needed. A flexible approach which made it easy and hassle free. Secondly the van is great! Drives really well and good on fuel. Phone connectivity and charging points all make it easy to get in and go. All facilities inside work well - sink and hob are great with all the bits you need - coffee maker a welcome addition! Bed is MASSIVE which is great. Easy to put up and down too. Pop up makes it really comfortable. If you want to make this van into a house put up the awning - easy enough to do if you’re good with tents. Highly recommend, thanks Rob. July 2024
