🚐 VW Transporter Day Van Hire – House Rules

Clear, fair and easy to follow – protects your van and sets expectations from the start
✅ General Use & Eligibility

• Minimum driver age: 25 | Must hold a full valid UK driving licence held for at least 2 years

• Only named drivers on the hire agreement may drive the van – no exceptions

• No driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any impairing medication

• Stick to UK road laws; speed limits and parking rules apply at all times

🚫 Inside The Van

• Strictly no smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes anywhere inside or within 2m of the van

• No pets allowed inside the van – we can discuss secure external transport options on request

• No hot food with strong odours, open flames or cooking inside the living area

• Keep surfaces clean; no sharp objects or heavy items placed on soft furnishings or dash

🛠 Care & Responsibility

• Return the van in the same clean condition as collected – free of mud, sand, rubbish and spills

• Report any new scratches, dents, damage or mechanical issues immediately, don’t attempt repairs yourself

• Check oil, coolant and tyre pressure if travelling long distances; inform us of any concerns

• Lock all doors and close windows/awning whenever the van is unattended

• Awning must be fully secured in wind; pack away if winds exceed 20mph to avoid damage

⛽ Fuel & Equipment

• Van is supplied with a full tank – please return it full, or pay the refuelling charge

• All included kit (cool box, table, awning, first aid etc.) must be returned clean and undamaged

• No modifications, stickers or permanent changes to the van body or interior

📅 Booking & Returns

• Return by the agreed time – late returns incur extra charges unless pre-agreed
