Fern – Adventure

Second time I hired Fern, it's a great motorhome, lovely to drive and fairly economical and very comfortable. A great service from Emmett the owner, I shall be booking again next year. September 2023

Needed a motorhome with a towbar and Emmett's vehicle was just what we needed for five days at Silverstone. Emmett was a gent and super to deal with. Thank you Emmett. August 2023

5* PLUS! This was our first time hiring a motorhome; we couldn't have asked for a better host. Emmett explained everything to us perfectly! We travelled as a couple with three toddlers ( 4, 3, 2), and there was plenty of space. We even fitted in a travel cot for the youngest! Spectacular on fuel and an all-round dream to drive. So this was our first camping experience, we thought rental would be a good option and it was we are sold! As first time renters of a motor home the experience of the goboony rental system was straight forward and simple and information flowed seamlessly. When rental was confirmed with Emmett then we hit a new level of customer service, Emmett was excellent and in contact straight away to discuss the rental and Explain all that we needed to know as first time renters as we were ready to pack the kitchen sink. The motor home was an experiment for my family and it was an excellent introduction to the potential of this new lifestyle with the kids, throughout the 3 day rental Emmett was in contact to ensure we had no issues and was on hand to Answer any questions. I highly recommend this motorhome for family’s (my kids loved the lift up/down bed) and Emmett was excellent on all fronts. May 2023

I am going to hire Fern next year, had a great 4 days at Santapod Raceway. Fern is a dream to drive and very comfortable and has everything you need and NOT very expensive to run. I found the booking process very helpful and quick. The owner Emmett was really helpful & very pleasant. The van was exceptionally clean , operation of equipment was straightforward and she drive really well. All in all a very good few days away. We rented Emmett’s MotorHome (Fern) for 4 nights, noting that this was our first ever experience of renting, driving or staying in a MotorHome. The executive summary would be that, overall it was great fun and everything went largely to plan. We found Emmett to be a great guy, pragmatic, helpful and really flexible. Our requirement was to pick the MotorHome up early evening and drop it back at 06:30 on return. Emmett was totally accommodating all round. He is also knowledgeable regarding his MotorHome and answered all questions and was on hand during our trip when we encountered very minor issues. The MotorHome was low mileage, good condition, no material faults and spotlessly clean when we collected it. Importantly, it was well stocked with utensils, cutlery, glasses etc and all things considered there was very little extra we could have asked for. The MotorHome itself is relatively new, low mileage, and drives as it should. We collected the vehicle full of fuel, drove a total of c300 miles on our ‘long weekend trip’ and it took ‘just’ £100 to fill it back up with diesel. We thought that was great fuel economy for this size of vehicle. We had one issue where we couldn’t get the water heating to work - probably our inexperience (Emmett was on hand via text or phone for advice but we couldn’t get that to work) to be honest we didn’t try too hard as that didn’t impact us as we were staying at a campsite with full facilities anyway, so probably down to our ignorance. We used very little gas, just a couple of cooked breakfasts and use of the gas oven (all worked fantastically well) and Emmett made no charge for use of the gas. With that in mind it was great to find that the rental was as described and no hidden extras, including the gas! Our thanks to Emmett once again, really efficient, everything was as described or better and we would definitely rent Fern again. I have no hesitation in rating Emmett and his MotorHome 9/10 and will look forward to renting from him again. July 2022

It was my first time in a camper, and certainly the first time I have driven one. The week was great because the weather and because of the camper. Emmet was very good and patient to explain me what to do, he is also always available to help. The camper was very clean, in very good condition, everything working. Emmet gave it full equipped we take with us just food and bed sheets. I really recommend this camper you won’t be disappointed. May 2022

Motorhome was my first travel experience! This car is fully equipped as feel like at home! The kids love being in the car.
