Dolly – The ultimate camper van

This big lean & green camper machine has been our dream come true for the last 2 years!

A military ambulance converted into camper, this beauty is a real head-turner. Even if you don't like "boxy" cars, people just start waving for you. Or honking (in a good way).

This Mercedes 609d (for the van nerds; this means 90 horsepower, 6 tonnes in weight and "d" stands for Diesel) has a wooden interior with more storage than necessary, a twin-bed, a children's bed, a table with two fixed seats and a third movable chair, refrigerator, cooking stove, 40L watertank, sink. On the outside it has a canopy, a bike rack for 2 bikes, a roof rack and a solar power system so you can park totally off-grid.

The van is 2,20 meters wide so it fits through almost any street and 3,10 meters high; also under most bridges. The front seats 3 people and they all have seatbelts. Safety first!

It steers veer easy because it has power steering. So anyone can drive this baby.

We have a pick-up service from Lagos station that brings you to the location of our van (15 minutes from Lagos). We also have road assistance if anything should happen.

We'll also give you some amazing routes so you can discover the beautiful places in the Algarve and Alentejo region.
