Mooie vakantie, maar duidelijke verbeterpunten
Wij hebben met de camper een mooie vakantie gehad. De camper reed prettig en bood ons veel vrijheid tijdens de reis. Toch waren er bij de oplevering, de bereikbaarheid en de schadeafhandeling meerdere verbeterpunten.
Bij vertrek bleek de camper niet volledig schoon te zijn en was het dakraam defect. Ook ontbrak het kentekenbewijs en was vooraf niet gemeld dat er een AirTag in de camper aanwezig was. Daardoor hadden wij niet het gevoel dat de camper vóór vertrek volledig en zorgvuldig was gecontroleerd.
Jolly vermeldt dat zij 24/7 telefonisch bereikbaar zijn. Dat hebben wij tijdens onze huurperiode niet zo ervaren. Telefonisch contact krijgen was soms lastig en berichten via de app werden niet altijd snel of adequaat beantwoord. Juist tijdens een reis is het belangrijk dat een verhuurder bij problemen goed bereikbaar is.
Na afloop ontstond discussie over de schadeafhandeling. Er werden aanvankelijk twee afzonderlijke schadeclaims ingediend, terwijl de schade volgens Goboony tijdens één incident was ontstaan. Goboony heeft uiteindelijk bepaald dat dit als één schadegeval moest worden behandeld en dat het eigen risico daarom maar één keer verschuldigd was. De uiteindelijke beslissing was correct, maar de afhandeling duurde lang en zorgde voor onnodige onzekerheid.
Onze vakantie zelf was geslaagd, maar toekomstige huurders adviseren wij om bij vertrek de staat van de camper goed vast te leggen, eventuele gebreken direct schriftelijk te melden en duidelijke afspraken te maken over bereikbaarheid en schadeafhandeling.
