Gijs – 4p Volkswagen campervan from 2010

Want to enjoy the outdoors? Take Gijs on an adventure and create some great memories! The California T5 comfortably sleeps two, but is equipped for up to four.

Gijs, our VW California T5, is a compact, versatile campervan equipped with a kitchen, sleeping accommodations, and clever storage. Whether you're on a short or long trip with Gijs, you'll have a blast! And of course, it's also quick and easy to switch from campervan to car, so you can explore that beautiful town further afield. This automatic transmission with its powerful engine (132 kW/180 hp) offers a comfortable ride, and it's equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, and navigation. The campervan has four seatbelts: two side-by-side on the rear bench seat and two in the front.

The camper's pop-up roof increases the standing height to 2.10 meters, which also includes a sleeping area. It features a double bed (1.20x2.00 meters). The rear seat folds down to create another intimate bed for two people (1.95 x 1.15 meters). When the downstairs bed isn't being used, the swiveling pilot seats quickly create a cozy sitting area. Enjoy the outdoors from all sides. The camper can be heated using the auxiliary heater. It's possible to park the camper off-road for approximately two days, using the household batteries. Alternatively, you can plug into a power outlet. The camper also includes a (small) porta-potty.

The kitchen is equipped with an energy-efficient (compressor) refrigerator, a sink (30-liter water tank), and a two-burner gas stove. It's fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, and various cookware for four people, as well as a kettle and a Nespresso machine.

You can quickly create a pleasant outdoor space under the awning. The tailgate houses two California camping chairs and a stool with a shelf. For more space for games or meals, remove the California outdoor table from the sliding door. You can carry up to two bicycles on the bike rack. Please note: heavy/electric bicycles are not permitted on the rack unless the battery has been removed.

Smoking and pets are not allowed in our camper.

We offer Goboony's standard daily insurance, which also includes roadside assistance for renters while traveling. Assistance is available at any time in the event of a breakdown, damage, or driver incapacitation. On-site repairs, towing, and even returning the vehicle home are covered. So, no worries on the road!
