In 2022, we bought this former carpenter's van and converted it into a camper. Practical, without compromising on atmosphere — that was our starting point. And that is exactly what makes this van so great. The van is fully insulated, keeping the heat and cold out — making it ideal for winter campers too! A big plus is the large Isotherm fridge with freezer compartment. You will be amazed at how much you can fit in the fridge. Very convenient if you want to stay somewhere for a few days without having to constantly search for a supermarket. There is also plenty of storage space under the benches for supplies and other items. But perhaps the best feature is the spacious 'garage' at the back. Here you can easily store all your luggage, swim gear, shoes, and other camping equipment. This keeps the living area nice and tidy.
The kitchen features a two-burner gas hob and a large gas tank under the kitchen unit. There is also a water tap with a water tank. The cupboards, with a handy elastic storage system, ensure that your belongings stay neatly in place while driving. No pans rolling around or plates falling off. The seating area has a pull-out table where you can easily dine with three people.
Because we are both tall and value our backs, we found one thing especially important: a good bed! You simply slide the bed out in the evening, place the seat cushions inside, and you're done. In the morning, you slide it back in just as easily. This way, you have all the living space you need again during the day.
There is also the option for an extra child's bed at the foot end. Our daughter slept soundly in it until she was ten. The bed can also be placed in the driver's cab if desired. The bed is not suitable for an adult.
The van has a powerful lithium battery that charges automatically while driving. This allows you to stay somewhere for about two days without a power supply. On warm days, the electric roof fan ensures good ventilation: it can blow fresh air in or vent warm air out. The vent window can also be opened for extra air and features a mosquito net and blackout curtain. For mosquitoes, we have a handy screen for the sliding door that you can install in no time. This way, you can leave the door open in the evening without uninvited guests. Furthermore, a Porta Potti is available for small emergencies.
And perhaps most importantly: the bus runs smoothly and has never let us down. Every year, it receives its maintenance on time.
