Freely. That is the name of our camper. As a family with 3 young children, we enjoy this freedom on wheels. And because we value 'having at our disposal' more than 'owning', we rent our camper to you with love and pleasure.
With only 68,000 km on the odometer, this 2011 Fiat alcove camper still drives as good as new. We find the fully adjustable seats very comfortable, and the reversing camera provides a good overview. We completely renewed the cabin floor, all upholstery, and the curtains in 2023, making the interior look fresh and cheerful again. The electrical circuit was also replaced in 2023, so thanks to the solar panel, a 2000W inverter, and the large leisure battery, you can even travel 'off the grid' for a few days. We also find the extra USB charging points handy.
The camper features three roof hatches for extra light, ensuring ample daylight even on grey days. All roof hatches and windows are fitted with mosquito nets. Air conditioning is present in the driver's cab, but not in the living area. Thanks in part to all the windows and roof hatches, we did not suffer from the heat during the summer. A small fan did help for extra cooling, though.
The camper has a spacious 4-person dinette equipped with two three-point seatbelts and two lap belts. We were able to safely secure our children's child seats in it. In the evening, this is easy to convert into a double bed. Additionally, there is a 2-person dinette, which we always keep folded up and use as a lounge sofa.
Furthermore, Freely is equipped with a large refrigerator and freezer compartment (usable on 12V, 230V, or gas), a 3-burner gas stove, and heating. The bathroom features a shower with hot water, a toilet, and a sink with a large mirror. There is also plenty of cupboard space inside. Two large bicycles fit on the rear carrier, and large items go in the enormous garage (apparently that's what your trunk is called in the camper world).
We are happy to provide you with our outdoor furniture so that you can sit atmospherically under the large canopy in the evening (see photos). But be warned: compliments on the coziness amidst all the construction lights will be coming your way.
Finally: with a little care and attention, all items will last much longer. Good for you, for us, and for future renters. Should anything break anyway, we will discuss it. Simply, in mutual trust. So, and now: enjoy your trip with Freely!
Love,
Thomas and Karine
