Hi there!
This is our camper! A bright yellow Ford bus. So no matter which mountain you climb, you will always see the camper.
Our camper is also FOR SALE! If you are interested, you can rent our camper first to 'try it out'. Should you actually wish to buy it afterwards, we can deduct part of the rental fee from the purchase price.
The bus is a 2016 L3H3 variant, so it is just under 6m. You can stand up inside, even if you are 1.90m tall. The camper was built by ourselves in 2024. We traveled through Europe in it for 1.5 years. To the North Cape, Southern Portugal, the Highlands, and perhaps you will take our bus to a place it hasn't been yet?
What makes this camper so great? First of all, of course, the corner sofa, because not many self-built campers have that! The sofa is located at the front of the van so you can always enjoy looking outside, even in bad weather. The 'living room' has a table that rotates. This allows you to enjoy eating in any position. Underneath the sofa, there is another table that can be extended outwards. This makes it easy to sit outside with a table without having to set up an extra one.
The camper features a pull-out bed, and thanks to the flare on the outside, the bed is a whopping 2.00 meters long and 1.85 meters wide! This provides plenty of room to enjoy stargazing.
That's not all, because this camper is completely gas-free! No hassle with searching for, filling, or exchanging gas cylinders, or smelling the gas strongly in the camper while cooking. This camper features a 2-burner induction hob. This also means that a large electrical system is located in the 'garage'. The 330Ah battery charges via the solar panel while driving and can also be connected to 230V at the campsite.
In the garage, you will also find the 100L water tank and the water filters. This ensures that you can always drink the water from the tank, no matter where you fill it. This triple filter extracts everything. There is a pump with a shower head. We use this in combination with a bucket to shower outside. We heat the water on the induction hob. Or, if we are at a campsite, we enjoy taking a shower there. Inside the camper itself, under the corner sofa, there is a composting toilet. A grey water tank is located under the van. This is not heated or anything similar for winter camping (only necessary when it freezes).
The camper features various storage spaces for clothing, kitchen utensils, tableware, games, or food for your loyal four-legged friend, as they are naturally welcome inside. A carabiner hangs from the bottom where you can attach the dog to a long leash when you are parked off-grid. There is also a dog gate, so you can keep the door open while the dog stays inside the van, and a dog food and water bowl on the inside of the sliding door.
There is a sun canopy present, and the windows have insulation on the inside.
The camper's cabin has 3 seatbelts. We have placed a wooden block in the middle to create more space for our dog to lie comfortably in his basket while driving. If you would prefer not to bring this along, please let us know.
If you have any further questions about our camper, please do not hesitate to let us know!
Love, Yonna & Peter
