Otis – Off-grid camper - a wonderful stay

Otis is our cozy and comfortable camper, perfect for relaxed weekend getaways or longer adventurous trips. Otis is built to ensure you can enjoy yourself both indoors and outdoors, fully equipped with every convenience. With an indoor kitchen, toilet, and cozy mood lighting, you can spend a day reading books inside if the weather is bad, but as soon as the sun shines, you can move your life outside. Under the awning, on the cozy rug, and in the comfortable De Waard chairs, you can make use of the outdoor kitchen and hang up the outdoor shower for the ultimate outdoor experience!

The bus is 6 meters long, 1.80 meters high (in the cabin, 2.65 meters headroom) and efficiently built (e.g., the round shower cubicle and swivel table), allowing two people to move around easily inside. The fixed double bed (1.40 x 1.94 meters) is wonderfully comfortable. Plenty of daylight streams in during the day through the large skylight above the bed, and in the evening, you can enjoy stargazing from your bed.

The seating area seats 3 to 4 people for when you have guests over. The games are already waiting in the cabinets. There is plenty of storage space under the bed and in the built-in cupboards in the cabin, making it easy to keep your living space tidy and neat.

The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner gas stove, a fridge with a freezer compartment, and everything you need to cook elaborate meals. There is a leisure battery with an inverter for laptops and chargers. When you turn on the boiler while driving, you will have nice hot water for a warm shower upon arrival at your destination. The solar panels on the roof make Otis a true off-grid camper; you are free to go wherever you want!

Thanks to the many windows, driving the bus is easy because you have a great view of the surrounding traffic. We have also installed a reversing camera, making parking a breeze :) You can play your favorite music or podcast via Bluetooth or USB during a longer drive. Otis is most fuel-efficient at 110 km/h, but in a hurry, he easily reaches 130 km/h.

Two bikes fit on the bike carrier on the back of the bus; however, this bike carrier is not suitable for electric bikes. But Otis also has a tow bar, to which you could attach your own bike carrier. Very handy if you are camping just outside a village and want to run an errand.

You can pick up Otis in Arnhem; by arrangement, we can also bring him to you for an additional fee. We will explain all the tips and tricks for camper life, recommend nice spots, and provide you with the user manual. If you have any questions before you are convinced, you can always contact us!
