A few months ago, we bought this Volkswagen Transporter in Germany. It's a former postal van, recognizable by its striking color and understated, characterful appearance. Since then, the van has been converted into a practical and comfortable campervan.
The interior is designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind. A custom-made mattress (120 x 190 cm, extending to 160 cm over the first meter) was provided, along with storage cabinets and hangers. Everything is functionally designed, eliminating unnecessary elements.
Despite its age, the van is in good condition and has always been properly maintained. We recently took it on a month-long road trip through Italy, which was smooth and comfortable.
A practical advantage is that the van is also accessible from the rear, under the canopy. This makes it easy and convenient to use while camping.
In short: a well-maintained Volkswagen Transporter with a simple but well-thought-out conversion, suitable for those looking for a reliable camper van with character.
