Billy is a super laid back dude, handover both ways went very smooth and stressless. We went full-on with Big Bertha, starting in Edinburgh, Ben Lamond, Three Sisters(we wanted to go to Loch Etive through "skyfall road", but Scottish single-file roads scared us in the beginning, so we cut that out of our plan). Then we moved towards Skye and stayed there for about three days visiting Sligachan Waterfalls, Old Man of Storr, The Quiraing, Fairy Glen, Coral Beach, Neist Point and Talisker. When we returned to mainland, the road took us north, all the way to Dunnet Head. On our 3-day long way back to Edinburgh we saw Peedie Sands, Duncansby Stacks, Castle Sinclair, Chanonry Point, Clava Cairns, Cairgorm Mountain, Loch Rannoch and finally The Hermitage. We spent last night in Silverdyke campervan parking in lovely coastal village of Cellardyke. As for the motorhome itself - we had some problems with leisure battery not charging during driving, so initially we didn't use hot water etc, but we were in constant contact with Billy and he went above and beyond to try and fix the issue by arranging mobile mechanic(Robert - Crofts and Lochs engineering, brilliang guy) TWICE! Somewhere in the middle of our trip Billy got us a brand new battery and with recent fixes we finally had everything we could dream of in a motorhome - Lights, hot water, all of it. We never stayed in one place for more than 1 night and we were mostly off-grid so overall I think Big Bertha did alright. Plenty of space for 3 people, quite good condition, drives ok without unpleasant surprises:)

Smooth handover , very helpful and Michael gave thorough instructions of campervan! Very helpful! Lovely to drive, loads of space for our stuff for festival! Enjoyed the stay in campervan! The electric hook up was ideal and perfect for our weekend! Thoroughly enjoyed and well recommended !

What a fantastic car! The Subi quickly became part of our travel party, or so it felt. Even packed to the brim with a roof tent, bike rack, and electric bikes, it didn't complain. The tent was very cozy and the sleeping arrangements were better than some of the hotels we occasionally booked along the way. What a wonderful vacation!

We had a lovely journey and a stay at a festival in James'es camper. The camper had everything that we needed and is very well kitted out. We shall definitely look to hire this van again. Highly recommended. Timo

Ginny was the perfect van for our trip to Mull! This is a beautifully converted van, and is very comfortable to drive and live in (for two adults and a big dog). We woke up to a fantastic view from the back of the van every day, even when it was raining (thanks to the back windows). Ginny gave us the flexibility to stay at either “wild” camping spots or campsites and was packed with everything we needed for our island adventure. Duncan was a great host, and has really thought of everything! He was flexible, easy to communicate with, and made the booking and rental process so simple and straightforward. We will definitely be booking Ginny for our next van adventure!

Clean well maintained campervan. The size is the perfect compromise between living space comfort and driving comfort. I would not have enjoyed the drive to Neist Point in a larger motorhome. It's perfect for discrete overnight parking (where permitted!). Although some may manage with more, I think this is ideal for two people. Andrew and Susan were very helpful and kindly showed us the way around the campervan. The location in Cramond was near the airport and even has a parking spot at the beach for the first night. We spent the day exploring the island accessible at low tide. Highly recommend.

What an amazing experience ! We can not thank Sam enough for her amazing hospitality, she gave an in depth handover, making us feel knowledgeable and confident in taking Flash for our trip. Flash was absolutely amazing! So much hidden space to store all our belongings, taking two children on the trip, we had alot of stuff and still had free space! Flash met all our needs and more! Sam even provided essentials that can easily be forgotten , tea towels, washing up liquid, drying rack, pots pans, cutlery etc! I can’t recommend Sam and her beautiful motorhome enough. Thank you so much !
