In the Media: Mail Online, The joys of a staycation motorhome adventure (no airports required!)

In this article, Thomas W Hodgkinson takes us along on his weekend away in a campervan. He found Black Booty (a Mercedes Vario 614D converted van) on Goboony. He found it easy to find the right vehicle, and appreciated how much Simon, the owner, helped with working out the van and offering advice on a route.

"We popped onto the Goboony website, which operates along similar lines to Airbnb. The main difference is that the 3,500 ‘properties’ advertised on the site all have wheels and most of them run on diesel." - Mail Online

From there, Thomas and his family got to experience the joys of campervan travel in the UK. From majestic castles to cosy pubs, it was a delight for the whole family.

"True, our trip couldn’t have been called ‘romantic’ in the traditional sense. But there had been a feeling of romance in the freedom of the road — and in being reminded that, when the sun is out, there is nowhere on Earth that is more beautiful than England." - Mail Online
