Response from Nicola
We formally dispute the accuracy of this review.
The motorhome was inspected, serviced, and confirmed to be roadworthy immediately prior to the hire, with no issues relating to braking performance, exhaust condition, or water ingress. This is documented in our pre-handover checks.
No concerns or faults were reported by the hirer at any point during the rental period, including during use of the vehicle.
The issues described were only raised after the vehicle was returned. Allegations of pre-existing defects, including “ineffective brakes” and “unsafe condition,” are not supported by any evidence and do not reflect the vehicle’s condition at the start of the hire.
As per the terms of the rental agreement, responsibility for the vehicle rests with the hirer for the duration of the booking. Any damage or faults arising during that period cannot be attributed to pre-existing condition without clear, verifiable evidence.
We take safety and maintenance extremely seriously and keep full inspection and service records. We are confident in the condition of our vehicle and will pursue this matter through the appropriate channels if required.
We have challenged this review through Gaboony.
The motorhome was in poor overall condition, with excessive noise inside while driving and ineffective brakes, particularly on longer journeys, raising safety concerns. There was significant rust and corrosion underneath the vehicle, which led to the exhaust system breaking during the return trip. Additionally, there was a noticeable water leak from the storage unit inside the motorhome. Overall, the vehicle was not well maintained and appeared unsafe to use.
