4 berth Volkswagen campervan from 2018

Having toyed with buying a campervan this was a great opportunity to try out whether a can was for me. I’m so pleased I did this and I’m really pleased I came across Adrian and his van. Having decided to go up to Keswick from Manchester Adrian is located perfectly for the M6 and is more than happy to have your car on his drive whilst you rent. Before even picking up the van Adrian was helpful and communicative and answered all of my pre-rental questions. Adrian allowed me to pick the van up an hour earlier and bring it back an hour later, this worked great for check in and check out on site. The van itself is well maintained, perfectly set up for its renter with just the right amount of equipment and as a first timer was really easy to hook up and the pop top was easy to set up and certainly made a difference to comfort. I slept up there and left the bottom half set up as a living area. I felt the van gave good MPG as it used just under a quarter tank for around 200 miles with mostly motorway and dual carriageway driving. I hiked so left it on site. I would like to see an awning for when the weather is good and to increase the overall living area as a rental addition - sorry if you do this already Adrian. All in all a great experience and I will be back to Sargent Campers when I travel north again. April 2026
