Hired Oakie for a 10 day trip round the South West of England with my partner, and had a fantastic time.
The van has been converted to a very high standard, with lots of great practical features, and lots of little touches which made it feel extremely homely. It is very competitively priced compared to some of the others we found, and has a much more generous mileage cap than many of the larger companies who often charge you a premium after travelling relatively low distances.
It comes with loads of camping/kitchen essentials so there is a lot you don't need to worry about packing (David sent us the full list when we enquired), and it has some great features that made life a bit easier on the road. The outdoor heated shower is a real bonus if you're planning on visiting any beaches!
David gave a very comprehensive handover when we picked Oakie up, but if you forget anything he has a guide on how to work the water/heating etc, and he was very helpful and responsive when we messaged him questions mid trip.
Overall would highly recommend - Oakie is a lovely van and David a fantastic owner!

Great van and David is a lovely guy to deal with. The care and attention he has put into the conversion is clear to see and the oak finish on the cabinets is fantastic. The van is lovely inside, has all the equipment you need and it’s warm, homely and easy to drive.

The beds are comfortable, including the 3rd berth, which converts very quickly from the sitting lounge, but can also be left set up during the day if you don't need the space to eat. The sleeping climate was very good, despite the rain and temperatures up to a maximum of 18 degrees we didn't need the heating. Because Oakie has its own energy supply with the solar panels, we were independent and were able to stay in beautiful, secluded places. We only booked campsites twice to refill water and do laundry. The built-in Internet is also useful if, for example, you don't have roaming for your cell phone.
