**We ask all customers to treat our family Motorhome with due care and respect.**
To ensure that no surprises occur when the Motorhome is returned, please note that the following will incur charges & will be deducted from your deposit if the Motorhome is not returned in the same state as it left. All cleaning gear is provided including disposable gloves, cloths and anti-bacterial sprays.
NOTE: A friendly checklist for getting the Motorhome ready to be returned will be provided to help avoid any stress or any surprises during your checkout:
• FUEL TANK IS NOT RETURNED AS FULL
This incurs a £50 charge as well as any necessary costs to refill the fuel tank.
• TOILET CASSETTE IS NOT EMPTIED
A charge of £50 will be applied to ensure that the cassette is disposed correctly.
• GREY WATER NOT EMPTY
£50 will be deducted from your deposit to empty the contents.
• UNWASHED UTENSILS / COOKING APPLIANCES / OVEN / COOKING EQUIPMENT /
£20 will be charged for cleaning each of the areas listed above
• UNCLEANED TOILET, CASSETTE & IMMEDIATE AREA / WASH BASIN & HOB / SHOWER / FRIDGE / OVEN /
There will be a valet charge of £25 for each of the areas above that is not returned in the same clean state.
• SURFACES TO BE SPRAYED AND WIPED DOWN
All surfaces to be cleaned and wiped down removing hand prints, smudges, grease marks etc. Charges will vary.
• ALL SPEEDING CHARGES / PENALTY CHARGE NOTICES (PCNs) / PARKING FINES / TOLL CHARGES
This carries an admin fee of £75 on top of the penalty charge. Please enjoy your holiday and drive safely. Excessive speeds will affect the stability of the Motorhome whilst it is in motion.
• LATE CHECK OUT WITHOUT PRIOR ARRANGEMENT
You will be given a sat nav for the Motorhome but if you know that you will be late for your check out, please call me 45mins prior to the arrival time shown on the sat nav or any device that you are using. A late fine of £15 per half hour will be taken from your deposit if no communication is received.

The Hand over was very smooth, Gerry was quite experienced in the process and I was a newbie. Gerry was able to answer all of my questions and made me feel at ease as this was my first motorhome experience, although somewhat similar to boating as I owed a river cabin cruiser, ie, the cookerfridge, & toilet cassette.
My 14 year old son and I went to Black Knowl Club Campsite down by Brockenhurst which was a very tidy and extremely well kept campsite. The campsite was only a little over an hour away South from the location of the Motrorhome. Being a Sunlight S69L motorhome it was quite easy to handle.
I have been doing research on motorhomes and am very interested in one day buying a used one to explore in. I thought renting one would be a great first step and it was a great experience for my son and I, it took us away from the everyday routine and husssle.
Gerry has gone through a lot of detail in consideration for his renters as everything seemed to be onboard to maintain the motorhome. Gerry also had a number of short youtube videos to watch to help familiarise me with the general operation of the motorhome beforehand.
All in all we had a great experience with Gerrys motorhome and I think Gerry is a genuine good person to do business with, thank you ver so much buddy, Leroy & Archie.

We loved our time with Gerry's motorhome, only issue was that we didn't want to come home! It had everything we needed & more, loads of storage & a huge garage for our kit. Everything was really easy & quick to set up on site, ideal if you're a newbie (just as Gerry had explained & he's done some helpful videos, if you did have any issues), so we could chill with a drink in no time. We all slept really well in the comfy motorhome & Gerry was really helpful too with any questions, we look forward to hiring again!

Gerry's customer service was great but unfortunately the vehicle was not in a fit state for rental. The battery was disconnected due to some rust and the result was a breakdown which took several attempts to resolve.
There were a few other small issues with the vehicle too which hadn't been picked up during maintenance checks

I'm really sorry that Chantelle's booking was disrupted due to an unexpected mechanical issue that couldn't have been anticipated. We have a strong system in place for situations like this, which involves reaching out to our roadside assistance partner to handle any breakdowns. Unfortunately, the process wasn't followed as it should have been this time.
To make things right, I arranged for a second callout which should have been made by the hirer (as explained during the induction and covered in our manual) and thankfully, the problem was fully resolved in about 40 minutes.
In retrospect, I did my best to support Chantelle throughout the weekend, taking on tasks that normally wouldn't be expected of me in similar situations. My goal has always been to resolve these issues quickly, amicably, and fairly, within the limits of what I can do.

We rented Gerry’s camper van to attend Badminton Horse Trials. Pick up and handover was smooth and thorough with the camper van handed over in immaculate condition, fully fuelled, watered and gassed up. Everything you would want is provided including very comfy camping chairs. Operating the camper van is easy and we effectively lived off grid for 4 days with no issues. The return was smooth and easy and I would recommend Gerry’s camper van to anyone. Great service.
