MINDY – 2022 Luxury 4 berth Elddis Magnum GT Motorhome

We had a wonderful weekend in Mindy, she's incredibly comfortable and easy to drive. Many clever features and clear explanations and help by Sarah and Oakley made our first motorhome experience seamless. We can't wait to go again! Kim and Chris October 2023

It has been such a nice time to drive Mindy across Cornwall. We are super satisfying in working with Sarah. She patiently showed us facilities on the motorhome as we are the first-time motohome driver. Kids were so excited along the journey. Mindy is equiped with fridge, cooker, oven, microwave, sofabed+double bed, toilet and shower, foaldable seats , wardrobe, which are apparently enough for four of us to use during the journey. We strongly recommend Mindy to eveyone who wants to rent a motohome. August 2023

We hired Mindy for a long weekend. Being only 1 yr old the van was in immaculate condition and we were very pleased with our choice. Sarah & Oakley provided a great service on collection and return. The vans facilities coped very well when off of the electric hook up, so we always had hot water and a cold fridge. Inside the van is spacious and the clever lay out means the space is wisely used with plenty of storage and a double bed that doesn't get packed away. We would hire this mobile home again. In a word, brilliant. But you probably want We needed to find a motorhome at short notice as our previous booking fell through (no fault of the hirer, just some careless customers) and Sarah was super helpful in responding quickly to my query and getting our booking of Mindy sorted. After booking communication is via WhatsApp which is quick and convenient. Sarah is available via this route during your trip too, in case you need assistance. When we went to pick up Mindy the people at Oakley/StayGo Campervan Hire were all lovely, taking us through how to use all the facilities etc. Mindy was really well appointed with everything you need for a trip. Although we were only with her for two nights you can stay with Mindy for longer in comfort. All the kitchen and cleaning equipment you could possibly need is provided, the bottom sheets for the beds are clean and the van itself is in great condition. The air-con in the cab works well and the general comfort for driving is great. The sat nav works well but you might want to use your own device for up to date traffic. The bed is very comfy and the fold out bed is also comfy but you probably need something different for 4 adults. This is the perfect van for a couple or a young family with small children. The toilet and sink are fab and easy to empty and refill. We did not use the shower as we stayed on campsites with showers but I am sure it would be fine. Filling the water tank and hooking up the electrics are easy too, which is handy as we were first time motorhome trippers. The fridge is a good size with a small freezer compartment and works well on battery, or gas, or when plugged in. The cooker is also easy to use and having a microwave is brill. The fold away table means you can set it up inside the cab or outside and Mindy comes with a couple of folding chairs for outside too. All the windows and roof lights open to get fresh air in (don't forget to close them before driving off!) meaning you can keep the sleeping area cool in the hot weather. The bench seats easily convert to traveling seats with seatbelts if you do have more than two of you on the trip. It takes only moments to convert back to a bench again. On return to the base again the people at Oakley/StayGo Campervan Hire were brill. Offering to help us unpack but also giving us space to get ourselves together. They kept our car in their locked yard for us which was an added bonus. I would highly recommend you to book Mindy, or any of the vehicles that this hirer have, as they are a lovely bunch who really want to make the experience easy and fun. Five stars is not enough!!!
