For the past four years, we have been the proud owners of our beautiful Groene Waldi: a dark green Peugeot Boxer campervan from 2019. We have already taken a number of wonderful trips with it. We find the 5.40-meter-long Groene Waldi compact yet comfortable: the layout with the fixed 135 cm wide bed positioned transversely at the rear is ideal. The kitchen is equipped with a sink, a two-burner stove, and a 60-liter refrigerator. We have an extensive inventory of kitchen utensils for two people.
The bed, with a good mattress and an extra mattress topper, sleeps fantastically (although somewhat less suitable for tall people). Bed linen and towels are provided. All windows have both mosquito nets and blinds that are easy to operate.
De Groene Waldi drives very smoothly, making it feel like you are driving a regular car, and its length makes it easy to park (unlike larger motorhomes). Because De Groene Waldi is a Euro 6 emission class motorhome, you can go wherever you want! The vehicle features cruise control, heating for colder days, and a large roller awning with LED exterior lighting. De Waldi also has a bike carrier for transporting two bicycles. As of this year, this is a bike carrier that can also transport electric bikes. This does extend the camper slightly. (good to know when parking ;-)
The front seats can be rotated to create a spacious seating area with 4 comfortable seats.
We have two lovely butterfly chairs with Polish sheepskins, and for those interested, a Kubb game to borrow. There are also solar-powered outdoor lights included for a nice 'festival feel', should you like that.
The Groene Waldi has a powerful solar panel on the roof. So, in principle, you do not need to connect to the power supply; in sunny weather, the Groene Waldi lasts a long time. The roof has two operable hatches, one of which has a fan, allowing for optimal ventilation. There is LED lighting in various places, as well as several power outlets and USB ports.
After the bad luck with our beloved blue Ford Nugget, we decided, after some hesitation, to rent out the Green Waldi as well, and we find that quite exciting. For that reason, we would like to introduce ourselves to the renters. We hope you will also have wonderful adventures with it!
