After delivering hundreds of mattresses throughout the Netherlands, van Appie is ready for retirement. He would love to trade the urban environment, early hours, and short distances for sun, sea, and sand. Will you take him along on his journey?
Appie can show you how comfortable and cozy camping can be! This snug camper is ideal for adventurous couples who want to get away for a while, whether it’s for a relaxing weekend in the Netherlands or just across the border.
Why would you choose Appie?
- Sleeping and seating: Suitable for 2 people, with 3 comfortable seats.
- Small but great kitchen: Fully equipped with two gas burners, an extensive set of kitchen utensils (pans, plates, cutlery, spices, cutting boards, etc.), a large cool box, and even a mini air fryer!
- Handy amenities: A Portapotti toilet for rent (so you don't have to go to the toilet block at night), a small heater for cold nights, and a shore power connection with plenty of sockets for the cool box, your phone, or the mini fan.
- Off-grid possibilities: Thanks to the solar panels, you can travel completely self-sufficiently. Charging phones and running the cooler is effortless, even without shore power. So, it's also a great place to be at a festival!
- Flexible comfort: The bed is easy to slide out and the decor is atmospherically bohemian, with a wooden interior, terracotta and green details, and cute plants. The camper has plenty of storage space under the bed.
- A nice awning: This way, you can sit comfortably in front of the camper on the comfortable chairs, dry or out of the sun.
For extra convenience and coziness
- Outdoor equipment included: Camping chairs, a small table, a parasol, a rug, string lights, and cozy outdoor lighting complete your spot.
- Tent available to borrow: Choose between a large or small Fresh & Black tent for extra sleeping or storage space (for a small fee).
- Optional bike carrier: Take two bikes with you on your adventure! (for a small fee)
- Space for your surfboard: Thanks to the roof rack, you can easily transport your surfboard on top of the bus.
Easy driving and parking
At just 5 meters long, Appie is nice and compact and easy to steer, even in busy cities or on narrow roads. It can be parked in a standard parking space.
Cozy and snug
In the evening, you create the ultimate camping atmosphere with various lights inside and out. This way, you can enjoy a glass of wine in front of the bus. This camper is ideal for both short trips and a longer camping holiday.
Old beast
Whether you want to relax on the beach, surf along the coast, or tour through the forest, Appie will take you there with ease. He doesn't have it very easy in the mountains, so a different camper is recommended for mountainous terrain. We prefer renters who don't venture too far across the border. Appie isn't retired for nothing :).
