Dani – 4p Volkswagen campervan from 2012

Original and very well maintained Volkswagen California camper from 2012. The first years of its life this camper drove around in Germany and in 2014 it was imported into the Netherlands by Scharphof Campers from Nijverdal. In total we are only the third owner of this camper. We have owned it for over two years now and have driven more than 15,000km without any problems during that time. We have the camper maintained annually and has recently had all the necessary maintenance, so it can be used again in the coming years.

We are very careful with it ourselves and expect the renter to also handle the camper with care. Of course it remains a user object, but I think it is clear what we mean :-).

The camper has 4 sleeping places, but experience shows that with 4 adults it is quite tight if you all want to sleep in the bus. We would actually recommend sleeping with a maximum of 3 adults on the bus (1 downstairs, 2 upstairs), or with 2 adults and 2 children. We have one mattress overlay available that can be used both downstairs and upstairs.

The camper is equipped with the most important camping accessories, such as plates, cutlery, cups and pans. Camping chairs and a camping table can also be taken along if desired. The camper does not have a parking heater, but it does have an electric (separate) heater, which is ideal for pleasantly heating the small space on colder or humid days. The camper can also be completely darkened with the original curtains.

On the outside, the camper has an awning, ideal for creating shade or keeping things dry outside when it rains. The camper also has a bicycle rack for 4 bicycles. However, this can only be used for 2 'normal' bicycles or for 4 relatively light bicycles such as MTBs or racing bicycles. If electric bicycles are taken along, please use a bicycle rack on the tow bar.

Optionally and in consultation, it is possible to rent a bicycle rack. Target price for the bicycle rack of 2 bicycles €30 per week or €20 per midweek/weekend. Target price for the trailer €75 per week or €50 per midweek/weekend. We find the trailer particularly ideal for keeping luggage outside the camper as much as possible, so that it is easy to regularly make the bed without moving all the luggage.
