Wij hadden Dolly meegenomen naar een festival en Dolly was de perfecte match! Ze trok de aandacht van veel (voorbijgaande) festivalgangers. In Augustus 23 met Dolly 2 weken op vakantie geweest naar Normandië samen met onze 2 tieners.
Fijne tijd gehad!
Stel jezelf in op standje slow en neem echt ruim de tijd om te reizen want dan geniet je het meeste en dat is ook onderdeel van de hele ervaring.
Qua interieur heb je echt de sfeer van de jaren ‘70. Als je gewend bent om op kampeervakantie te gaan dan kun je met deze camper hetzelfde verwachten. Alles werkt, ook al is eea gedateerd qua looks maar ook dat hoort erbij. 220v werkt niet tijdens het rijden dus een sigaretten usb lader is een must voor je telefoon/navigatie onderweg.
Qua rijden vooral geen stress hebben! Iedereen haalt je in en daar moet je gewoon je schouders voor ophalen. Dolly is dorstig dus daar moet je wel rekening mee houden.
Bergop heeft ze het erg lastig zeker als je zwaar beladen bent, dus het beste vermijd je die wegen, maar soms ontkom je er niet aan en dan moet je rustig blijven.
Zeer aan te raden om met een bijrijder te rijden want met name als je moet stilstaan bij een schuin kruispunt zie je als bestuurder rechts helemaal niks. En dan bedoel ik ook echt niks. Verder bij bijzondere verrichtingen gewoon iemand laten uitstappen voor de begeleiding.
Met het grote stuur zonder stuurbekrachtiging heb je een beetje een vrachtwagengevoel. Goede schouderwork-out!
Kortom, rondtrekken met Dolly is met de juiste reis instelling heel leuk om te doen en een mooie ervaring.
