A beautiful camper for two people equipped with all amenities (basic shower, toilet, parking heater, solar panel, etc.) and therefore completely independent.
Drives like a passenger car.
Our Fiat Ducato is a wonderfully compact camper with a length of 6.00 meters. So it is nice and maneuverable, and a standard parking space can be used regularly.
We bought this bus in February '25 and personally converted it into a fully equipped camper last year.
One of the great things about this campervan is its handling, which is comparable to a passenger car. It accelerates quickly if desired, has little to no trouble with inclines, and offers an excellent view thanks to the high seating position.
The seats are, of course, swivelable and selected for seating comfort. In combination with the good (sound) insulation, the cruise control, and the air conditioning, you will arrive at your final destination rested, even after hours of driving!
As an added bonus, the camper is equipped with a reversing camera. Handy for parking, for example.
Cupboard space and refrigerator
In terms of interior, the bus is also complete and excellently equipped for 2 people.
Cupboard space for clothing and the like is located above the bed, above and below the refrigerator, and above the cabin. Other items can be stored under the passenger seat and, of course, in the “garage”.
In short, sufficient storage space.
Reading
Because we love reading, fixed and swivel spotlights have been installed in both the seating and sleeping areas, so that you have (reading) lighting in any desired position.
For the atmosphere, the bus is also equipped with dimmable LED lighting, both inside and out, which can be operated separately with a single button.
Fixed bed
The bed is 195 cm long and 160 cm wide, more than enough for 2 people. However, it is not recommended for people taller than 1.90 m.
Getting in and out of bed is done via the hatch, which can serve as a step in combination with the porta potti.
Solar panel and parking heater
Furthermore, the camper is equipped with 2 x 165 Wp solar panels, a leisure battery, a 100-liter fresh drinking water tank, and a diesel-powered auxiliary heater, so that you can stay in the "wilderness" for extended periods and be independent of electricity and other luxury amenities.
The parking heater has a power output of 2 kW, more than sufficient for a pleasant winter sports holiday.
In addition to heat, the parking heater also has a ventilation setting specifically to make warm days more pleasant.
Toilet and shower
The camper is equipped with a simple porta potti; however, we usually use the toilet facilities at a campsite.
The shower facility is, as mentioned, basic. It is a hand shower that you use outside the camper.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner gas stove, a sink with running water, four lockable drawers, and 2 countertop cupboards for various utensils. Cutlery, plates, pans, and other accessories are part of the standard inventory.
As mentioned, this camper handles city life perfectly well due to its length. However, it is too tall for a parking garage. That is why, whenever we want to stay in the city a bit longer, we always take the bikes. We drive the camper to the outskirts, take the bikes off the carrier, and are, if anything, even more flexible than walking. Plus, you can take more with you!
Inventory
In addition to kitchen utensils, the inventory also includes 2 camping chairs and a height-adjustable table. It is always possible to bring other camping equipment in consultation. This could include items such as sleeping mats, panniers, or pétanque.
Well, almost too much to mention already, and that’s not even including the roof hatches with optional insulating blackout blinds, the extra storage space under the fold-down cover, etc.
In short, a fully equipped camper for a wonderful holiday.
